WARRANTY & RETURNS POLICY

We stand behind our knives — period. Every TRENCHTEK knife is built to perform and backed by a Lifetime Warranty against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship.

 


 

Registration Requirement

To qualify for Warranty coverage, the knife must be registered with TRENCHTEK within thirty (30) days of the original purchase date.

Warranty coverage is valid for the original purchaser only and applies only to products purchased from an authorized TRENCHTEK retailer.

Failure to register within the required timeframe voids warranty eligibility.

 


 

Proper Use & Care (Standard Knife Usage)

Thank you for purchasing your TRENCHTEK knife.

To operate:

  • Push the switch forward to deploy the blade
  • Pull the switch back to retract the blade

Care & Maintenance:

  • Wipe the blade clean before retracting to prevent debris from entering the mechanism
  • If resistance is met during deployment, internal spring tension may disengage as a safety feature
  • To reset tension, manually pull the blade fully forward until reset

Using the knife improperly or failing to follow care instructions may result in damage not covered under warranty.

 


 

Lifetime Warranty Coverage

TRENCHTEK warrants its knives to be free from defects in materials and workmanship when used under normal, intended conditions.

If a valid defect is confirmed, TRENCHTEK may, at its discretion:

  • Repair the product using original or equivalent parts (preferred remedy)
  • Replace the product with the same or a comparable model
  • Issue a store credit or refund where repair or replacement is not feasible

 


 

What Is Not Covered

This Warranty does not cover:

  • Loss or theft
  • Damage caused by abuse, neglect, or accidents
  • Improper blade sharpening
  • Disassembly, tampering, or unauthorized modification
  • Cosmetic damage, including paint or finish wear
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Use outside of intended purpose
  • Tampered with or altered products automatically void the Warranty.

 


 

Returns

TRENCHTEK does not offer returns.

Warranty claims are handled exclusively through repair, replacement, store credit, or refund at TRENCHTEK’s discretion when manufacturing defects are confirmed.

 


 

Warranty Claim Process

To request warranty service:

  • Email support@trenchtek.com with subject line: Warranty Return

Include the following:

  • Full name
  • Email used for warranty registration
  • Shipping address
  • Detailed explanation of the issue
  • Clear photos of the product
  • All claims are reviewed for eligibility.

If approved:

You will receive a Return Authorization (RA) number

Shipping instructions will be provided

Products sent without an RA number will be refused. TRENCHTEK is not responsible for unapproved shipments.

Do not include accessories or non-warrantied items. They will not be returned.

Replacement processing may take up to twenty-one (21) days, depending on availability. If the original product is unavailable, a comparable product may be provided at our discretion.
